In the world of graphic design, it is usual to differentiate between a bitmap and a vectored image. The first, more common, are formed by many pixels, while the second are made up of geometric shapes drawn using set coordinates.

WinTopo is a specialized program that works to interpret the content of a bitmap image and convert it to a vectored one.

The WinTopo program admits the following entry graphic formats: TIF, JPG, PNG, GIF and BMP, and the following as exits: DXF, SHP, MIF, and WMF. Once converted, you can use different photo retouching tools to modify or edit the resulting image´s properties.
